Admitad subnetwork code of conduct
To operate a Subnetwork account on the Admitad Partner Network, the Subnetwork warrants that they and their Subpublishers must be familiar with and always comply with the following:
- this Code
- Terms for Publishers (Global), placed here https://www.admitad.com/terms-for-publishers-uae/ (hereinafter referred to as Terms).
- Instruction for creating ad spaces for partner networks, placed here https://developers.admitad.com/knowledge-base/article/partner-networks_1.
This Code of Conduct constitutes an integral part of the Terms, and any matters not covered by this Code of Conduct shall be governed by the Terms.
1. Introduction & Purpose
This Code of Conduct establishes the operational standards for Subnetwork partners within the Admitad ecosystem. While we view Subnetworks as a significant driver of growth and scalability, we believe this potential can only be realized through Data Transparency and traffic controllability.
The purpose of this document is to ensure brand safety for our Advertisers and guarantee traffic quality, without compromising the Subnetwork’s business model.
2. Definitions
Subnetwork – an Admitad partner (that participates in the Admitad Partner Network as a Publisher but operates its own independent group of sub-publishers) that acts as an intermediary, aggregating Advertiser offers for third-party traffic sources (hereinafter referred to as “Sub-publishers”). Such sub-publishers are not registered with the Admitad Partner Network and interact with it solely through the SubNetwork. SubNetworks must ensure that all such sub-publishers and their Ad Spaces are duly registered and disclosed in accordance with these Terms.
All terms used in this Code of Conduct that are not defined herein shall be interpreted in accordance with the definitions set forth in the Terms.
3. Data Transparency Principle (Transparency via ID)
Admitad prioritizes Granular Identification, relying on unique source IDs. We require a unique, persistent identifier for every traffic source to ensure traceability while respecting your proprietary network data.
3.1. Mandatory Granular Tracking: subnetworks are required to pass a unique identifier for the ultimate traffic source (Sub-publisher) for every click and action generated.
Technical Requirement: you must use the register-specific Ad Spaces tool via API that is strictly mapped to a specific Sub-publisher within your internal system.
Static Identifiers: the ID assigned to a Sub-publisher must remain constant. Dynamic rotation of IDs for the same traffic source to mask performance or fraud is strictly prohibited.
3.2. Compliance on Demand to maintain trust: Admitad operates on a “Transparency on Demand” basis. In the event of a Traffic Quality Check initiated by Admitad or an Advertiser, the Subnetwork must provide details regarding a specific Ad Space ID (e.g., screenshots of the placement, traffic mechanics, or source URL) within 48 hours.
4. Quality Control & Liability
4.1. “Know Your Publisher” (KYP): the Subnetwork assumes full responsibility for the pre-moderation and vetting of its Sub-publishers. You must ensure that your Sub-publishers are compliant with the specific rules of Admitad offers (e.g., restrictions on Brand Bidding or Pop-under traffic), this Code of Conduct and Terms.
4.2. Vicarious Liability: any violation committed by a Sub-publisher (including fraud, cookie stuffing, or misleading advertising) is treated by Admitad as a violation by the Subnetwork itself.
Admitad reserves the right to conduct compliance audits and may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, enforce sanctions for non-compliance, including suspension or restriction of account access, withholding or reversal of earnings, or termination of the Publisher’s participation in the Partner Network.
4.3. Surgical Blocking: if low-quality traffic is detected from a specific Ad Space ID, the Subnetwork must immediately suspend that ID from Admitad offers without disrupting the traffic flow from compliant Sub-publishers.
5. Prohibited Practices
The following practices are strictly prohibited:
Blind Traffic: delivering traffic without passing unique identifiers (Ad Space ID).
ID Masking/Cycling: rotating IDs or generating fake IDs to dilute fraud metrics (click-spamming).
Reselling of Resellers (Layering): creating complex chains of re-brokering where the original source of traffic becomes untraceable.
6. Enforcement
In the event of suspected non-compliance or whilst an investigation is ongoing, Admitad, in addition to the rights granted under the Terms, reserves the right to place the Subnetwork on ‘Probationary Status.’ During this period, commissions may be temporarily withheld or paused to allow for a full audit of traffic sources without immediate termination of the account.
