Setting a new standard

Admitad is leading the way in building a transparent, balanced, and efficient ecosystem by:

  • Upholding high integration standards to minimize data loss and ensure fair reward distribution
  • Investing in education and innovation to help partners adapt to industry changes
  • Implementing tracking loss adjustments for advertisers not meeting integration standards, ensuring publishers are compensated for untracked conversions

Why Conversion Tracking matters

The affiliate and partnership marketing industry faces increasing challenges from privacy regulations, browser restrictions, and the phasing out of third-party cookies.

These changes can lead to data loss, missed conversions, and inaccurate attribution – impacting publishers, advertisers, and end-users alike. Without robust tracking, up to 30% of conversions can be lost, resulting in wasted spend, unfair compensation, and broken user experiences

What is a high-quality integration?

A high-quality integration in affiliate marketing consists of three key components

Server-to-Server

Server-to-server (S2S) tracking ensures accurate and direct data communication by bypassing browser limitations. This involves using postback URLs, APIs, and XML to reliably track conversions.

Mobile App Tracking

For brands with active mobile applications, comprehensive mobile app tracking is essential. This includes SDKs and S2S methods to ensure all in-app transactions are captured and attributed accurately.

Browser-Based Tracking

Browser-based tracking complements S2S by expanding the range of measurable user actions, especially in complex user journeys across multiple devices and environments.

How Admitad’s Loss Adjustment works

Starting June 1, 2025, advertisers who do not meet the recommended integration standards will be subject to Loss Adjustments. This means:

Predictive estimates of untracked orders will be added to advertisers programs

Publishers receive fair compensation for their efforts, even for conversions that would otherwise go untracked

Advertisers are incentivized to upgrade their tracking for more accurate data and better campaign optimization
